What is ClearPores?

ClearPores represents a way to treat acne with nothing but natural substances. It contains extracts from various plants that are known to act on acne and combines them in what should be one of the most effective ways to deal with acne.

Before you get any other details, we should mention that the ClearPores range is made up of three different products. You would receive a facial wash, a herbal supplement and a skin protectant cream. These three products are included in the ClearPores Acne Facial System.

How does ClearPores work?

Clearpores Facial WashThe first of the products, the facial wash, is designed to remove all the impurities from your skin pores. It also removes dead skin cells, but so does the shower jet so that’s neither a pro nor a con. However, this particular product does unclog your facial skin pores. That makes blackheads and whiteheads a lot easier to remove.

But to effectively deal with acne, this product also needs to kill bacteria and remove sebum oil. The good thing is that it can actually do that. All of these properties mean that facial wash is pretty effective in helping you get rid of acne. Clearpores Protectant CreamMeanwhile, the protectant cream has the role of moisturizing your skin, softening and soothing it. You should use it after you have used the facial wash. Finally, the herbal supplement is meant to purify your body and detoxify your liver.

Clearpores Herbal SupplementsThis apparently kills the bacteria that cause acne. Well, the good thing is that the ingredients in it are natural and the chances of side effects are slim to none. Apparently if you want to deal with the acne from other parts of your body you need to buy a whole new product range, called the ClearPores Acne Body System.

Medical/Clinical Proof

Even though this is a product currently available only online (we all know it’s not a particularly trustworthy environment), ClearPores has done a good job in gaining the trust of customers and the medical community. All the ingredients used have proven their worth, so the product should be almost as effective as its marketers claim. However, what you need to remember is that not all skin types are the same. That means that there is always the chance that the product might not work for you. But that is a chance you have to take with just about every other product out there.

The Price Factor

1 month package costs $67.95
2 month package costs $129.95
3 month package costs $183.95
5 month package costs $281.95
(Prices are subjected to changes)

Money Back Guarantee

On the bright side, there is a money back guarantee. If you acquire 3 months’ worth of products, you will also get a money back guarantee if it doesn’t work. That effectively tells you that the product sometimes needs 3 months to get rid of your acne. Well, that may seem like a long time, but it is not. Getting rid of acne is a long and tedious process.

Pros

To help you decide, let’s make a list of pros and cons. On the pro side, we have the money back guarantee, the fact that you don’t need a prescription, the complete lack of side effects, the double action treatment type and the fact that medical experts don’t have anything bad to say about it.

Cons

On the other hand, there is also a less than bright side. The product is expensive. If you can get it at a discount, the pricing might be a bit better. The fact that there are separate products for face and body is also very bad and quite silly. That basically means that the cream that is good enough to get rid of your facial acne is not good enough for the acne on your bottom.

My conclusion

The bottom line is that this is a pretty good acne product as long as you know what to expect. It is efficient but it is not miraculous and its costs are considerable.

  1. Do you stop taking your antibiotics when you start to feel that your skin is clearing up? You really shouldn’t, because the bacteria can build up a resistance (aka.. antibiotic resistance, i’m sure we’ve all heard of this), thus the bacteria can come back stronger than ever.Of course, other treatments to consider are other creams/gels prescribed by the doctor. I’m guessing they’re not too effective if you are taking pills for them already. Have you tried minocycline? It’s another antibiotic. Also Vitamin A tetrenoin gel is good. It helps with pimples AND softens the pigments on your face (which is good if you have some acne scars). It dries your face a lot though. This is actually related to the vitamin A, which you must have heard of Accutane. (This is why people actually say carrots are good for you if you have acne’ because carrots HAVE vitamin A. Just a little aside!)I wouldn’t recommend this unless your dermatologist does in fact you HAVE to be sent to a dermatologist to get this drug prescribed (depending on where you live, this drug may be regulated differently though). This is the best acne treatment there is and can be the worst because of the side effects. Talk to your dermatologist to see what is right for you.
